Cristian Peix was born in Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil.
He completed his piano studies at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and studied piano accompaniment of Lied at the Detmold University of Music. From 2004 to 2005 he overtook the répétition of a masterclass of singers at the Berlin Hanns-Eisler University of Music, tutored by Thomas Quasthoff. At the same time he joined the Lied-class of Wolfram Rieger.

Cristian Peix gave concerts and taught own master classes for Lied interpretation in Austria, Brazil, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland and in the United States of America.
His main focus is Lied accompaniment with singers like Dörte Blase, Anke Briegel, Okka von der Damerau, Monika Frimmer, Maria Kowollik, Michaela Maria Mayer, Daniel Ochoa, Cristiane Roncaglio, Roman Trekel and many others.

He accompanied several choirs, among others Landesjugendchor Niedersachsen, Nordeutscher Figuralchor, Rastätter Vokalensemble, a.m.o. He was invited to various festivals e.g. Classical:NEXT, Niedersächsische Musiktage or Kurt-Weill-Fest Dessau.

Cristian Peix' concerts were recorded by broadcasting corporations like Deutschlandfunk, NDR, Ö1, rbb Berlin and WDR. CD-recordings with songs by Heitor Villa-Lobos (2012), Richard Strauss (2013) and Satie/Poulenc/Debussy/Ravel (2015) are available.
